Chapter 2: Who are you?

“It’s a... blue pegasus..?” Awestricken, Megan dismounted TJ and carefully approached the unconscious pegasus. TJ’s jaw dropped in shock and disbelief.
Megan carefully kneeled down beside it. Leaning forward, she got a better look at its facial features.

<Knock! Knock! Knock!>

“Anybody home?” Megan knocked on its forehead. She waved her hand back and forth over its face, hoping to get a reaction. She placed her ear on its chest and could hear a heartbeat and breathing. Moving closer, she forced open one of its eyelids, which responded by opening the other.
“WHAT THE-!” it exclaimed in a female voice, causing Megan to jump.
“GAH!”
The pegasus flapped its wings and shot off the ground. The surprise and shock caused Megan to jump straight into the hooves of TJ, who was just as shock and frightened by what he was seeing and tried to shield his friend from this strange winged pony.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!

“WHO ARE YOU?!” yelled the pegasus.
“WHO ARE YOU?!” yelled Megan.
“I ASKED YOU FIRST!” she replied.
Both shaking with fear, Megan gulped as she worked up the courage to speak. “M- My name is Megan… This is TJ…” She gestured to her stallion, who still trembled. “Who- Who are you? And How… How can you…”
Calming herself down, the pegasus took a deep breath. “I’m Rainbow Dash. The fastest flyer of all of Equestria. I take you’ve heard of me?”
Both Megan and TJ shared a puzzled look. “Can’t say that I have…” Calming down, Megan released herself from TJ who started to relax a bit as well, but kept his vigilance. “What’s Equestria?”

“What’s Equestria?!?” Surprised at first, Rainbow Dash snorted as she started to laugh. “Yeah right! You mean to tell me you two never heard of Equestria?” Megan and TJ looked eachother, unsure of what to make of it all. Rainbow took in her surroundings. “Don’t recognize this side of Equestria. Wonder how far I flew? What’s the name of this place?”
“Kentucky…” answered Megan weakly.
“Kentucky?” Confused, Rainbow Dash tried to work out her knowledge of Equestrian geography until she began to realize something and dropped down on the ground. “Wait… Twilight’s spell. That means… it worked? It actually worked!?” She turned her attention towards them and her face lit up with a cheer. “Then… Then you are the one I was sent to find!”

Megan blinked. This strange pegasus was sent to find… her? Being both overly confused and somewhat flattered, Megan decided to play along with this as the pegasus trotted excitedly towards them. She scratched her head and straightened up to greet her. “Well… I don’t know what to say… I’m…”
“Twilight knew her spell would find you. You can’t imagine how exciting this is!” Megan was rendered speechless as the pegasus ignored her completely and trotted up to TJ.
“Hi! Names Rainbow Dash! What was your name again?” Rainbow Dash smiled at the confused stallion.

Megan couldn’t believe this. This pegasus was looking for TJ?

(Whew!) Another chapter done. Well... Things certainly took and interesting turn. Wonder what will happen next time?
